ScaleMyFirm (“ScaleMyFirm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Get Going In Business, provides an AI-powered content-marketing platform (the “Service”) that helps businesses research, create, publish, and analyze content, podcasts, and advertising. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, username, email address, and password (stored hashed).
• Business / brand configuration — the business details, brand voice, keywords, locations, industry, and content rules you enter to configure the Service.
• Content you create — articles, podcast scripts and audio, social posts, and ad drafts generated or edited within the Service.
• Connected-account data — when you connect a third-party account, we access only what is needed to provide the Service, using credentials/tokens you authorize. This may include your WordPress or Shopify site, Google Analytics and Search Console, Metricool, Buzzsprout, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising accounts and Pages. Access tokens are encrypted at rest.
• Usage and log data — basic technical information (e.g. IP address, timestamps, actions taken) used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service — generating and publishing content, rendering podcasts, drafting and (with your approval) managing advertising, and producing analytics.
• To connect to and act on the third-party accounts you authorize, on your behalf.
• To secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the data in your connected accounts for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

3. Meta (Facebook / Instagram) data

If you connect a Meta advertising account, we use Meta’s APIs with the permissions you grant (such as ads_read, ads_management, business_management, and Page read permissions) solely to: read advertising performance/insights, and create or manage advertising campaigns that you review and approve within the Service. We store an encrypted access token and your selected ad-account and Page identifiers. We do not post, spend, or launch anything without your action. You can revoke our access at any time in your Facebook Business Integrations settings, which immediately ends our access.

4. Third-party service providers

We use trusted providers to deliver parts of the Service. They process data only as needed to perform their function for us. These include, among others: Anthropic (AI content generation), ElevenLabs (voice/audio), Buzzsprout (podcast hosting), Meta and Google (advertising, analytics, and search data), Metricool (social scheduling), Stripe (payment processing), Render (hosting), and stock-image providers (Pexels, Unsplash) and image generation (Ideogram). Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data — including disconnecting any linked account — at any time by emailing hans@getgoinginbusiness.com. We will delete your personal data and revoke connected-account tokens within 30 days of a verified request, except where we must retain certain records to comply with law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of third-party access tokens at rest, hashed passwords, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and tenant isolation so each customer’s data is separated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the application.

8. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date on this page.
